We recently hosted The Great Ugandan Egg Cook-Off, a joyful celebration of what God has done through the community chicken coop we established in Entebbe!

Seven local families have been faithfully working together to care for the chickens, and their dedication is paying off — the hens are now producing enough eggs for the children to enjoy breakfast before heading to school. Watching this community come together with unity and love has been such a powerful testimony of God’s provision.

To celebrate, we invited professional chefs to join us for an omelet party! They prepared delicious omelets for everyone to enjoy while we shared Bible stories and fun activities with the kids. Laughter, good food, and the aroma of fresh eggs filled the air as families gathered to celebrate this milestone together.It was a beautiful reminder that when God’s people work hand in hand, great things happen. Through this simple chicken coop, seven families are not only feeding their children but also building a stronger, faith-filled community.
